Baldwin’s girls soccer team is going into its game tonight against Canon MacMillan with confidence after its 10-0 victory against Brashear on Saturday night.

Senior Riley Nolan noted that the girls are doing better at working as a team than they have in years past.

“We still have a lot to work on, but right now we are looking good and better than in past years,” Nolan said.

The goals on Saturday were scored by Nolan, juniors Robyn Sopata, Adriana Marina, Ashley Kubiak, sophomores Megan Leary, Morgan Woods, Mia Di Cesare and freshman Cadence Morton.

Nolan said she is determined going into the game against Canon MacMillan.

“I think it’s gonna be a battle, but if we push through, I think that we have the potential to do well,” Nolan said. “Canon Mac has had lots of talent in years past, but we have improved a lot.”
