Pink’s new album, Hurts 2B Human, acknowledges that life can be hard to go through, but it also says that people need to remember that they have loved ones at their side to help. It’s about facing life, emotions, and memories from the past.

The song “Can We Pretend” is about thinking back to younger days. Pink considers life back when she was 22, being carefree and having the time of her life. Pretending those days still exist can be better because reality can be boring or painful.

Pink’s strong and powerful voice brings such emotion into her music. “We Could Have It All,” written with Beck, is a song about romance that is filled with emotion.

“Circle Game” is about life changing too quickly. Pink says that one day she was daddy’s little girl, holding his hand, and having him check in her closet for monsters. Now, she’s grown up, having to do those things for her child.

Hurts 2B Human is about Pink’s thoughts as she gets older and sees life going by. She may be worried at times about what to do, though she knows everything will be all right in the end.
