The boys’ volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss against Canon Mac yesterday, leaving the team with a 1-3 record.

The boys volleyball team lost an away section game against Canon-Mac by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday night.

Senior Tyler Gurchak said each set was close, and that the score does not reflect how the Highlanders played.

“All three sets were very close and I’m proud of the way we played. We hustled hard all game and we just came up short. I’m confident that we can beat them,” Gurchak said.

Gurchak said the Highlanders performed well, but it was just not their night.

“Our entire team played well. Everyone all around played really well, but we just came up short,” Gurchak said.

Gurchak said the team needs to work more on communication, which would help them get over the hump and into playoffs this year.

The Highlanders are 2-1 on the season thus far, and they will continue their regular season Thursday at home against Moon.
