The boys tennis team won its first match of the season on Monday over Trinity, 4-1.

Sophomore Hunter Kozlowski said the team consistently came up with effective cross-court volleys and serves.

“The team was efficient in staying focused during the matches,” Kozlowski said.

Junior Remy Davic was a standout in his singles match victory, he said.

The team will continue to work on avoiding double-faults and improving focus, Kozlowski said.

Getting a win in the first match was a good way to start the season.

“We want to be better all around and hopefully make playoffs this year,” he said.
