The ice hockey team had its four-game winning streak snapped as the Highlanders lost to Moon Monday night.

This puts the boys at a 6-7 record.

“It was a tight game,” defenseman Ross Zofcin said. “We thought we had enough energy, but we didn’t finish our chances.”

Lacking some of their best players due to suspension and injuries, the team got off to a rough start. Still, there were strong moments for Baldwin.

“The best part of the game was when Keith Reed scored a goal,” Zofcin said.

The team plans to focus on special teams work to prepare for their next game, Monday against Hempfield.

“I didn’t play my best game,” Zofcin said. “But I plan on doing better next time.”
