The Baldwin hockey team secured a big win against Penn Trafford on Monday night by a score of 5-3.

The Highlanders fought back after being down by one goal three separate times, with goals scored by senior Nathan Hobson and juniors Vinny Episcopo, Justin Pollard, Noah Fischer, and Paul Zmuda.

Baldwin goalie “Cole (Shannon) was good, and Hobson played well,” Fischer said. “It was a good team performance overall.”

The win put Baldwin above Penn Trafford in the standings, placing them in a playoff spot for the first time this year.

“We started the season off rough, but we’ve bounced back,” Fischer said. “We’re dedicated and this shows that we’re far from done.”

The Highlanders will play Plum next Monday.
