The boys basketball team lost to Canon Mac on Friday, dropping their team’s overall record to 4-8.

The Highlanders faced a stellar all-around performance from Canon Mac.

“Friday was a case of not being defensively prepared for what they had,” junior Andy Degenhardt said. “They also shot about 85 percent from the field, which is tough to defend against.”

Sophomore Dorien Ford had a strong offensive game for the Highlanders, with 19 points, Degenhardt said.
