The cheerleading team is going to Hershey again.

The cheerleaders qualified during WPIALs competition over the weekend. Now they will head to Hershey on Thursday for states.

“It feels astonishing to be able to perform as well as we did with this team, because we’ve been working so hard, especially over the break,” junior Olivia Kniola said.

Putting together a strong performance at the competition left everyone feeling enthused, she said.

“We were proud to be able to leave the floor with such a feeling of accomplishment, knowing we did all we could for our team and our coaches. It left us all feeling proud to represent our school,” Kniola said.

The cheerleaders already have qualified to compete at nationals in Florida later this year.
