The boys basketball team won its second straight game on Friday, defeating Connellsville, 52-46.

The Highlanders are now 2-2 as they prepare to start section play this Friday.

“We all played well and did our job on the court,” senior Christian Barr said. “We executed well on our plays and did a great job on turnovers.”

Barr said the boys are still finding their playing style on the court.

“We are going to be an aggressive and hard-working team, but I notice that we are not the team to blow anyone out. We are going to have to work for each point,” Barr said.

The boys play their next game against Elizabeth Forward.
