Baldwin´s swim team had a tough start to its season, losing to Shaler Area at a section meet on Thursday.

Senior Camryn Beveridge said the team is small and many of its swimmers are underclassmen, which makes this a growth year.

¨Even though we didn’t win, overall our team did well individually. We swam the best we could,¨ Beveridge said.

Senior Katelyn Meyers agreed.

¨Although we lost by numbers, we had some really strong individual races,¨ Meyers said.

Strong performances came from freshman Kevin Weber in the 100 meter fly, as well as from the boys 400 meter relay team. Sophomore Mackenzie Little also performed well in the 200 individual medley.
