The Baldwin competitive cheer teams maintained their undefeated records with wins at South Park on Sunday.

Both gameday and mat teams came in first place in the “large” division for cheerleading.

Senior competitive captain  Paige Ernst said that “staying positive is a really good factor of us winning.”

For Ernst, the teams’ “mindset is key.” She said these early wins are “a really good start for the season.”

“We need to make sure that we are not being too confident as we continue our season,” Ernst said.

As the teams work toward their next competition Dec. 2 at Slippery Rock, they are striving to hold onto their undefeated records.
