After a tough loss against Woodland Hills last week that disrupted the football team’s big start to the season, the Highlanders have been hard at work to prepare for Chartiers Valley tonight.

Senior lineman Lucas Perfetti said he believes that they are doing what they need to do to earn a win.

“We need to show up and leave everything on the field and do what we have been working on in practice,” Perfetti said.

The Highlanders’ main focus is to overcome adversity.

“We need to come back if we are down, keep the lead if we are up, and overall play the full 48 minutes,” Perfetti said.

The team looks to play a tough, physical game.

“The game all comes down to playing with high physicality and 100 percent effort,” Perfetti said.
