The football team is looking to continue its strong start in a section game against Moon Township tonight on the road.

The Highlanders opened with wins over Butler and Fox Chapel. Last week, though, Upper St. Clair came back in the fourth quarter to deal Baldwin its first loss.

“We have not been worrying about last week’s game,” senior Tyler Gurchak said. “We always treat the next game as our most important and never look back.”

The Highlanders will look to the defense to stand out and be a key component for this week’s matchup.

“Moon will look to run the ball down our throats. It is up to the defense to stop it and force them to pass,” Gurchak said.

The Highlanders are excited to get back on the field and continue to prove the doubters wrong.

“We need to play our game, make few mistakes, and prove that we are legit contenders,” Gurchak said.
