After earning a win in a close match against Montour on Tuesday night, the Baldwin golf team faces West Mifflin tonight.

The Montour match was tied at 225 by the end of regulation, but Baldwin won with a one-point lead after the sudden-death playoff.

Sophomore Connor Woods played very well, Coach Steve Sinning said. Woods shot a 40 overall and shot par in the playoff hole to help the team get the win.

So far the season has been going well, Sinning said. The team is currently 5-2 overall and 4-1 in the section.

“We have big matches with Mt. Lebanon and Bethel Park coming up (next week) that are going to sort out our playoff ambitions,” Sinning said.
