100-Word Rant
June 1, 2018
It’s crazy to think that in this era of expression, charisma, and swagger, students can’t wear a hat in school. How silly is that? Some say it’s disrespectful to wear a hat inside. But schools aren’t sending a good message, with books like Cat in the Hat in constant supply for young hat-hungry heads. Some try to label hats as symbols of gangs and violence, but that’s a terrible way to stereotype someone, especially a swagalicious student. School is a place of learning, no doubt, but it’s also become a place of art and creativity. Let’s give hats a chance.
