Considered one of NBC’s best drama’s, The Blacklist follows super criminal Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). Reddington turns himself in to the FBI during the series’ first episode. His empire had been facing strong competition, so he proposes an agreement with the FBI to provide them criminals to take down in return for his own immunity. The list, known as the “blacklist,” contains criminals that even top government officials had not heard of. Reddington says he would only go through with the agreement on one condition: He would only work with Keen. At this time Keen is beginning her first day in the FBI and wonders why he will only work with her. The show is written very well and the acting is on point. The show provides many twists and turns to where viewers really do not know what is going to happen next.
