Back in the middle school lunchroom, students could be sure that there were would be Tech Decks at almost every table. The small finger boards brought the fun of skateboarding to school and allowed anybody to do tricks without the years of practice that it would normally require. Having the coolest-looking board could do big things for a kid’s social status, and whoever was able to do the highest ollie owned the lunch table. The trend even grew to the point where McDonald’s began to give out Tech Decks with their Happy Meals. It is hard to imagine middle school without these toys that were a symbol of pubescent life.
