The boys volleyball team clinched a playoff spot with a dominating performance on Tuesday, defeating section rival Canon-Mac 3-1 win.

Sophomore Zach Remlinger said the team kept mistakes to a minimum.

“We made few errors,” Remlinger said. “A lot less than we normally do.”

The win pulled Baldwin even with Canon-Mac for second place in the section.

“It’s huge because we are still in the race for section,” Remlinger said.

Seniors Ben Remlinger and Mike Goga did a great job hitting, putting up a lot of points together, Zach Remlinger said. At one point Ben Remlinger had seven points in a row.

“They were unstoppable,” Zach Remlinger said.

Just last week Goga won WPIAL Player of the Week.

The team is currently fighting against undefeated Bethel Park for first place in the section. For Baldwin to catch Bethel, both Baldwin and Canon-Mac have to beat Bethel.
