After a win Thursday night against Peters Township by a score of 3-1, the boys volleyball team looks to carry consistency and energy into its upcoming matches.

Senior Dante Parente said he believes the victory was gained through the players’ teamwork. Overall, he said, the team played a solid game, feeding off of the energy of the bench and the crowd.

“We definitely rallied around the energy and fed off it to get the victory” Parente said.

Junior Russell Cyprowski and sophomore Teddy Boehm were the standout players for the Highlanders, he said.

The Highlanders thought there were several bad calls during the game, but had to keep their composure.

“We didn’t let bad calls get to our heads,” Parente said.
