Girls lacrosse loses to Bethel Park

The girls lacrosse team lost a tough one Monday night to Bethel Park, 16-3.

Sophomores Emily Rauch and Darryn Sleeman scored for the Highlanders, sophomore Crista Sucevich said.

“They really helped out the team, and allowed us to have some points on the board.” Sucevich said.

Going into the game the team had one strategy: to work as a team and not as individuals.

“We had good transitions, stayed on mark, and we had confidence,” Sucevich said.

The team has two more games coming this week, starting on Wednesday against Peters

“We look forward to playing. We hope to win and develop a winning streak,” Sucevich said.
