After losing to Seneca Valley 9-3 on Friday, the baseball team looks to get back on track in a busy week ahead.

Although it was out of section, the boys were disappointed to add another game onto their current losing streak.

Senior Jon Otto said the team’s lack of offense contributed the most to the loss. They were shut out through five innings.

Along with Otto, fellow seniors Jordan Rush and Kory Tierney knocked in the Highlanders’ three runs.

The Highlanders face a long week ahead of them with four games, including three section matchups.

Otto said the team has to “bear down defensively and move runners offensively” in order to succeed in their upcoming games.

The boys hope to recover with a section win tonight over Mt. Lebanon.
