Three Baldwin students performed at PMEA District choir on Friday, and two are moving on to Regionals.

Senior D.J. Pickell earned second chair for Tenor II at regional choir, and senior Robbie Miller earned twelfth chair for Tenor II. Baldwin’s third representative at the district level, junior Sarah Doran, made first alternate chair for Soprano I.

The PMEA District Choir Concert was held Friday at East Allegheny High School. Miller and Doran were both featured in the concert. Doran sang a solo and Miller was a part of a tenor quartet.

“After having the experience last year, it was amazing to rekindle friendships I made a year ago and make new ones, too. One of the best parts about PMEA is that you make friends with people from all across your area that you never would have met otherwise,” Miller said.

Miller and Pickell will perform along with the other students across the area who made it to Regionals on March 2 at Butler High School.
