As many fans know, the Internet game Kahoot is a great and fun study tool, but now the junior class is looking to take it to a whole new competitive level.

Kahoot Night, a competition raising money for junior prom, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. in LGI 1. Entry fees will be $2 in advance, sold outside the cafeterias, and $3 at the door.

Juniors Grace Delallo and Quinn Scharding came up with the idea during a junior class meeting.

“We just thought it would be a fun way to raise money since everyone loves Kahoot and the program is free and everyone has a way to access it,” Scharding said.

The categories and topics will be similar to topics on games such as Trivia Crack and Trivial Pursuit. Each round will be 20 questions and each will feature different topics such as pop culture.

Winners in first, second, and third place will receive prizes such as gift baskets and gift cards.

“It’ll be a really fun night with lots of snacks and fun prizes,” Scharding said.
