Many Pittsburghers will be lining up in front of their televisions to watch the Steelers vs. Patriots game this Sunday, but the marching band will be there in person.

The band will perform at halftime, playing the first and third movements of the “Phobias” show that they played at halftime during Baldwin football games, plus “Twist and Shout.”

Even though the band has performed at Steelers games before, this is one of the marching band’s biggest performances. The band has only ever played pregame shows, but never halftime.

Senior Kaylee Wahl, who is a drum major, said this is one of the most exciting yet nerve-racking experiences.

“I’m excited because we don’t always get to play in front of bigger crowds,” said senior Kaylee Wahl.
