It has been several years since the last Teacher Talent Show at Baldwin High School, but music teacher Kris Tranter wants to bring it back.

Hoping to promote school spirit, Tranter plans to hold the talent show on Friday, Jan. 12.

“Hopefully having it after break will give teachers enough time to prepare their act,” Tranter said.

Each act will be able to pick a charity or club that they will donate all of their proceeds to. Tranter said since it is hard to do fundraisers with the limitations on food items like candy bars, this will be a fun and unique way for teachers to do so.

“It’s a really good fundraiser idea. I just hope it turns out the way we plan,” Tranter said.

So far a few teachers have signed up to perform. Tranter hopes to find others who are willing to contribute as well.
