The girls soccer team ended a tough season on a high note with a 5-1 win against Bethel Park on Wednesday on Senior Rec night.

Senior Alina Stahl set the all-time scoring record at Baldwin, as her hat trick pushed her career total to 91 goals. Senior Bella Kenny also scored her first varsity goal in her last game.

“Our section season didn’t go as we wanted, but it ended on a high note,” Stahl said.

Stahl is moving on to play soccer at West Virginia next year.

The future looks bright, however, as the squad had four freshmen starters this year.

“They will be a young team with a lot of potential next year,” Stahl said.
