The recent protests in sports have been dominating the news in and out of the sports world. All of the anthem protests, especially in the NFL, need to stop. It is the wrong platform for this type of protest. Politics don’t need to be a part of sports.

Athletes can protest in other places outside of the games, but when it is time for the game, they should be focused solely on the game they are being paid to play, not some protest. These athletes aren’t being oppressed in the game, so they shouldn’t bring the protest into the game.

People watching these games aren’t watching to see what athletes think about politics. They are watching to see the game being played. It becomes a distraction for the people watching the game. This takes away from the viewers’ friendly competition, making them more worried about politics.

Also, some of these teams that were focused on the protests greatly underperformed on the field. This could be because of the protest, which shows how politics should stay out of sports to keep the athletes focused on the game.

These players are being paid millions of dollars to play the game, not worry about how they feel about certain political stances. When they are preparing to perform in the game, they need to be focused on winning and performing for their teams and fans.

These protests are even causing problems in the locker rooms. Some players are on one side of the argument, while others are on the other side. This is ruining the chemistry for these teams and hurting the way they are performing.

These teams are being paid to work together to win these games. They should be ready and focused for these games, not worrying about how they’re going to protest, or how the crowd is going to react.

Overall, there is no place on game day for these kinds of protests. The game should be the main focus of the athletes and the people, not a political protest.
