The girls volleyball team continued its undefeated streak with a win over Moon Township on Thursday.

Baldwin won 3-0, and the team hopes to continue going strong in the games before playoffs.

“We are definitely hopeful to being undefeated for the rest of the season,” senior Bri Phillips said.

The game started slow but picked up with positive aggression from the players, Phillips said.

Junior Mackenzie Meis and sophomore Ally Schenk were standout players for being aggressive and stepping up, Phillips said.

“I think a lot of the underclassmen have stepped up, and everyone has filled big shoes,” Phillips said.

Although the Highlanders are only halfway into the section schedule, the team plans to go into playoffs strong.

The team’s next game is Tuesday at Bethel Park at 7:30 p.m.

“We expect it to be one of the harder games of the season, but we are ready for the challenge,” Phillips said.
