The girls tennis team will be returning to a familiar place as are headed to playoffs for the fourth straight year following their victory over Woodland Hills on Wednesday.

Making the feat even more impressive is that their star sophomore Bethany Yauch was injured in early in the season and she will not return this year.

Senior Julia Prelich and junior Jenna Tarson offered high praise for their teammates and their perseverance.

“Losing our No. 1 was difficult, but we managed,” Tarson said.

The Highlanders are hoping to make a special run this year and bring home a championship.

“More practice, more support, and just more hard work will be needed,” Prelich said.

The team will know who they play in the first round on Monday.
