With the school year coming to a close, most teenagers are stressing over last-minute finals or just entering the promised land of summer vacation.  However, 19-year-old artist Lil Yachty recently dropped 70 minutes of auto tuned gold that surely will leave the youth turning up during their couple months of “freedom.”

The artist spends little time worrying about being a lyrical genius, as evidenced by the song “Better” and more on sounds that will causes listeners to get up and vibe.

By collaborating with Migos on “Peek a Boo” and rapping over beats made by world famous DJ Diplo in “Forever Young,” the album showcases his unique talent.

With this being his last year as a teenager, the title Teenage Emotions proves appropriate: Lil Yachty has received his fair share of judgement and criticism, just like every other teenager in the world.

Yachty handles it perfectly by including dedications to his friends and mother, and he tells the story of how music saved their lives.
