Member of A$AP MOB Playboi Carti dropped his self-titled debut mixtape after weeks of teasing fans with videos of unreleased songs.

The album has 15 tracks produced by various artist, but has features from A$AP Rocky, Levin Kali and Lil Uzi Vert.

Before the release of the album, Playboi Carti dropped two singles off the track list “wokeuplikethis” and “Lookin” both featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

Both songs are fan and radio favorites and have helped push Playboi Carti’s album into the spotlight.

The album flows smoothly between beats and Playboi Carti does a good job when choosing where to place his vocals

With songs like the intro “Location” Playboi Carti does a good job letting the beat ride out and drowning out the beat with vocals.

Over the entire album is not too intense to turn away relaxed listeners, but is not to slow to make for good a party or concert music.
