The girls softball team defeated Mt. Lebanon Tuesday night, 5-3.

While playing Mt. Lebo typically means a normal game, pitcher Addie Tagg said it was “a lot tougher than usual.”

Tagg said the key offensive players were Carly Santillo and Allison Murray, who both hit home runs.

Defensively, one big moment came when the team pulled a double play to end the fifth inning, Tagg said.

The win helps the Highlanders maintain their lead in the section.
