Junior class comes up with new fundraiser
March 29, 2017
The junior class will be hosting a lip sync competition on April 27 in the auditorium to raise money for the juniors.
“We wanted to start a new tradition. We’re hoping it will work out so we can do it again next year,” junior class council member Kaleigh Varney said.
Students interested in competing in the competition can see junior class sponsor Kate Deemer in Room 211 to sign up for auditions, which will take place April 10 and 11 after school.
“I know people lip sync in their rooms, so they should come sing on stage and support the junior class,” class officer Gavin Hackel said.
Students are encouraged to choose their own music and bring their own props to spice up their performances.
“The mic is off and the battle is on” is their official slogan, Varney and Hackel said.
