Zara Larsson's sophomore album is So Good

The release of Zara Larsson’s new album, So Good, keeps fans coming back for her contagious upbeat melodies and catchy lyrics.

One of her most famous songs off this album is “I Would Like.”  This song embodies club beats and orchestral instruments that mix better than one might think.

Another great song to check out is “Don’t Let Me Be Yours.”  Ed Sheeran co-writing this song is enough reason to get this track a listen, but the lyrics make up for what some might call an overproduced pop album.

However, other songs on the album are not so good.  “Funeral” has a dramatic title and winning house keys, but an unnecessary dub-step breakdown that ruins the song.

“TG4M” and “I Can’t Fall in Love Without You” offer a softer tone to the album but both lack a hook, which makes their purpose only to slow the pace between better songs.

However, it’s obvious that “One Mississippi” captures the most versatility of Larsson’s voice on the album.

Fans of Larsson’s first album will be happy to hear some of her typical sound on So Good, and some new fresh tunes that add to her eclectic style.
