Blaise Moore’s second album creates perfect package

MacKenzie Sendro, Staff Writer

As a follow up to her 2016 EP, London, Blaise Moore recently dropped her second EP, Laurence. The difference between the two EP’s is only the addition of two songs. Sticking to her relaxing, indie R&B style, Moore sets the tone for the late-night listener. With the combination of heartbreak and revenge, along with nostalgia and lust, Moore creates the perfect package. The album kicks off with  the regretful tale of a break-up. Like so many popular albums, this one too can gain praise for drowning in sorrow. The effort that was put into this EP is clearly minimal, but that does not take back from its quality. “He Don’t” expresses the individuality of Moore, and captures the two sides of every love story. Fans of Halsey and Alina Baraz will appreciate the sound.
