The Lego Batman Movie has the same plot as the other Batman movies, only with much more hilarity. The movie consists of non-stop jokes that will leave viewers laughing the whole time.

It tells the story of Batman (Will Arnett), who is fiercely but foolishly independent. Batman meets Richard Grayson, who is Robin (Michael Cera). The movie pokes fun at Batman’s life as he attempts to have a love life with Barbara Gordon (Rossario Dawson), the new police commissioner, and his comical attempt at being a father figure to Robin.

The movie is also very versatile, being appropriate for all ages, as it makes many references to the previous Batman movies along with references to Gremlins, Doctor Who, and Harry Potter when the Joker (Zach Galifianakis) tries to be a better bad guy and teams up with the best villains.

In addition to all the jokes, this movie teaches children to be more open with themselves, their family, and friends. But The Lego Batman Movie never gets preachy, instead relying on clever writing and the vocal talents of its stars to keep audiences laughing.
