The boys varsity basketball team suffered a tough loss against Mt. Lebanon Friday night.

The Highlanders trailed Lebo the whole game, but pulled close in the end to finish with a score of 52-50

“It affected us a lot, but this means we just have to come back and win every game from here on out,” senior Anthony Reid said.

Reid said junior Nick Fiumara helped keep the game close.

“He cut the lead down to four points,” Reid said. “It helped us a lot.”

The team plays at Canon-McMillan Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Highlanders hope to improve their current record, which is 13-6 overall and 7-3 in section.
