The defense team from Baldwin’s mock trial team won its debate last week against McKeesport.

The defense team now will move on in the competition.

The prosecution team, meanwhile, will present its case Tuesday night.

Junior Jonna Backers said the prosecution team is focused and prepared for their debate.

“We are working on our cross-questions and objections in case of an overruling that could cause us to lose points,” Backers said.
