The boys basketball team faces Bethel Park away tonight, riding momentum from a 61-58 victory over Canon-McMillan on Friday.

The team is first in its section this year with a record of 4-1.

“We have a strong defense that helps to ensure that we do well,” senior Carlos Ramirez said, referring to Friday’s victory. Senior Anthony Reid and junior Nicholas Fiumara are important assets to the team’s offense, he said.

Though their defense is their strong point, Ramirez says that there is always room to improve.

“We don’t want to stay on the same level. We want to get better and grow as a team,” Ramirez said.
