The boys basketball team suffered a tough loss against Peters Township Tuesday night, 61-47.

Senior Anthony Reid said that team needs to work on playing together.

“We need to work as a team when the game gets tough,” Reid said.

Reid said senior Carlos Ramirez helped keep the team in the game.

Junior Nick Fiumara said the game was challenging, but he is confident for the rest of the season.

“I think our biggest challenge will be Mt. Lebanon,” Fiumara said.

This was the team’s second section game this season. They started their season with a close win over Connellsville.

The team’s next game is Friday at home against Upper St. Clair at 7:30 p.m.
