The Baldwin ice hockey team faced off against Sewickley Academy on Monday and fell short, 3-2, in overtime.

Sophomore Lucas Kirk said Sewickley provided greater competition than they had in their first game against Baldwin.

“I wouldn’t consider them a rival, but they put up a good fight,” Kirk said.

Kirk said the team needs to focus on taking fewer penalties and staying in position.

Baldwin will compete against Montour on Jan. 2.
