Bublé captures Christmas spirit

After Michael Bublé’s album Christmas hits the eardrums, people immediately change into a full elf costume, sing carols with their pals, and overdose on eggnog due to pure excitement for the holidays. Christmas, Bublé’s seventh studio album, was the first holiday album to win a Juno Award. Some of the classic songs off of the album are “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Everyone knows these basic tunes, but adding a voice like Bublé’s enhances the holiday experience. Bublé wrote two original pieces, “Cold December Night” and “Michael’s Christmas Greeting.” It’s difficult to dislike the Christmas season when there are music videos of Bublé frolicking in the snow. His voice is so smooth and calming that listening to him is comparable to swimming in a vat of melted chocolate. According to SoundScan, a system that tracks music and video sales in the U.S. and Canada, Christmas was the second best-selling album in 2012 behind Adele’s 21. Mothers across America can only wish that their daughters will bring home such a charming man. Considering the fact that Bublé has broadcast a Christmas special on NBC every year since 2011, it doesn’t seem like anyone is getting tired of him or his glorious Christmas jams.
