Casey Conboy signs with Duquesne for cross country

Senior Casey Conboy has signed a letter of intent to continue running cross-country at Duquesne University.
Conboy has had a successful running career at Baldwin, reaching the state finals two times, and making WPIALs all four years.
Conboy said he was excited about running at Duquesne.
“They have the best collegiate coach in Pennsylvania,” Conboy said of Duquesne coach Jim Lear.
Conboy also had considered continuing cross-country at American University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Notre Dame.
“I chose Duquesne since I am going for business marketing, and they have a good network for after graduation,” Conboy said.
Conboy received a prestigious academic/athletic scholarship, with the potential of being worth $200,000.
