The ice hockey team tied 3-3 against Wheeling Central Catholic on Monday night after regulation and a tight overtime period.

Senior Paul Knerr scored two and sophomore Lucas Kirk added the other goal for Baldwin.

Junior Nick Antonio helped lead the team when they struggled to gain control in the game, sophomore defenseman Nathan Hobson said.

“He showed his leadership through his composure towards the end of the game,” Hobson said.

The tie puts the Highlanders at 4-2-1 on the season, and they are confident heading into the next game, which will be against Wheeling Park on Dec. 1.

“We should be able to win the next game,” Antonio said.
