Leading up to the Senior Rec dance on Monday, Baldwin students are encouraged to participate in Senior Week, a new series of themed days meant to inspire school spirit.

The event was originally planned for seniors only, but then class officers decided to open it up for the whole student body to take part.

“Seniors are role models, though they may not realize it. Their participation may inspire other students to join in as well,” senior class sponsor Dr. Daniel Harrold said.

Senior class President Trenton Thieret agreed.

“It’s important to show school spirit, especially for seniors, since this is our last year,” Thieret said.

The week started with Halloween costumes on Monday, and college gear on Tuesday. It will continue with black and gold attire on Wednesday, movie and television characters on Thursday, and decade-inspired fashion on Friday.
