The girls volleyball team won its “Dig Pink” game against Armstrong on Thursday night, 3-2.

It was a tight match, with Baldwin taking the last game by a score of 16-14.

“We went into the game pretty confident last night,” senior Sydney Kaercher said.

While Armstrong came into the game higher ranked than Baldwin, “there was never a point in the game when we thought we wouldn’t win,” Kaercher said.

Some of the key players in the game were senior Maddi Sgattoni, junior Bri Phillips and freshman Allison Murray, Kaercher said.

The team has won two games this past week, with the earlier one coming against Canon-Mac.
