Junior Jake Mysliwczyk is helping Baldwin’s technology soar to new heights with his own personal drone that will be flown over commencement on Wednesday night.

The drone is equipped with a camera and it will be used to add video to the district’s live stream of the graduation ceremony.

“It is something I’ve been interested in for a while, and the opportunity to give people a new perspective excited me,” Mysliwczyk said.

The drone will fly over only for the opening and closing ceremonies of commencement, he said.

Mysliwczyk intends to use the drone to get video for Highlander Highlights next year. He is creating an app to use next year with the drone for school events of different types.
