The softball team suffered its first section loss Thursday to Bethel Park. The game went into extra innings, where Bethel Park prevailed by a score of 9-8 in the ninth inning.
“Our motivation was slacking throughout the game,” senior Ashley Brady said.
Brady went four for five in the game and it was senior Ana Hale’s first pithing loss since returning from an injury that sidelined her last year.
The girls will attempt to bounce back tonight at 7:30 p.m. hosting Seneca Valley.
“Our mentality for the game is to take it inning by inning,” Brady said. “We also have to be positive throughout the entire game.”
