With the release of their first album, Night Visions, Imagine Dragons display an interesting alternative style. Their music features many sounds going on at once, which make it far from dull. It uses electric noises as well as vocal sounds, along with hand-claps and drums, to name a few. It sounds as though there are many different instruments used to create the unique sound. The album has an overall low pitch, but is still very passionate. The style is consistent throughout, and gives the band a distinctive sound. Although it is definitely not meaningless everyday pop music, it is dance inspiring in its own way. The album features slower songs as well as more lively ones. “Working Man” is very catchy and upbeat, while “Every Night” displays a slower tempo, but still is interesting.
