The girls lacrosse team fell to Blackhawk Tuesday night in its first section game, 17-3.
Senior Addie Reckley had two of the Baldwin goals while junior Beth Madison had one.
“They played really well and pressured us a lot,” junior Kayla Quinn said of Blackhawk, which was the WPIAL runner-up last year. “It made it hard to score.”
The girls have been working hard on transitioning and hope to make a comeback in an away section game against Trinity on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The team’s overall record is 2-2.
